I'm co-founder and Executive Director of Kawaakibi Foundation, a MENA-centered human rights organisation. We work on creative initiatives that make a meaningful long-term difference to the global struggle for human rights and dignity.

I'm also a strategic advisor at the Albert Einstein Institution. My book, The Middle East Crisis Factory, is about our region's past, how the vicious cycle of terrorism, tyranny and foreign intervention was born, and how we can build a better future.
